Instructions
- Add the drained albacore tuna to a medium bowl and break it apart with a fork.
- Add the Greek yogurt, light mayonnaise, celery, dill pickles, Dijon mustard, pickle juice, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Stir until everything is evenly combined.
- Divide the tuna mixture evenly between the 4 Mission Carb Balance tortillas.
- Top each wrap with 1 1/2 ounces reduced-fat shredded cheddar cheese.
- Fold the sides of each tortilla inward and roll tightly into a wrap.
- Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.
- Place the wraps seam-side down and cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side, until the tortilla is golden and crisp and the cheese is melted.
- For an air-fryer option, cook at 375°F for 5 to 7 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and the cheese is melted.
- Slice in half and serve warm.
Freezer Storage
- Assemble the wraps but do not cook them.
- Wrap each tuna melt tightly in parchment paper and then foil.
- Place all four in a gallon freezer bag.
- Freeze for up to 1 month.
Reheating Instructions
- For best texture, thaw overnight in the refrigerator.
- Air fry at 350°F for 6 to 8 minutes, or heat in a skillet over medium-low heat for 3 to 4 minutes per side.
- For a microwave option, heat for 60 to 90 seconds, then crisp briefly in a skillet if desired.
40/400 Notes
- Greek yogurt keeps the tuna filling creamy while adding protein.
- Pickle juice adds acidity so the filling stays flavorful without relying on a large amount of mayonnaise.
