Ingredients

  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
  • 2 tablespoons oat flour
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 egg or egg whites
  • 2 tablespoons plain Greek yogurt
  • 2-4 tablespoons milk of choice
  • optional mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Spray a microwave-safe mug with nonstick spray.
  2. Add protein powder, oat flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder to the mug.
  3. Stir in egg, Greek yogurt, and milk until smooth.
  4. Microwave for 45 to 75 seconds, depending on your microwave.
  5. Let it cool for 1 minute before eating. The center should be soft but not raw.

  • Do not overcook. Protein mug cakes can get dry quickly.
  • If the batter looks too thick, add another tablespoon of milk.
  • Use a protein powder you already enjoy because the flavor comes through.
